The Breakfast Club, Soho

Since studying is so boring, i just randomly decided to renew my blog. So as you might know, England is popular for its English Breakfast and it is so freakingly true ! You cannot find any better english breakfast than in England (or generally, UK). So today, i am going to review my number one choice for breakfast in London, THE BREAKFAST CLUB.

When i typed 'the breakfast club' into google, the first thing appeared on top was a movie titled The Breakfast Club. And at first i thought the cafe was based on the movie or something (since i have never watched the movie) and yeah basically, the cafe itself named after this movie and there are some quotes from the movie that are displayed in the cafe (at Angel's branch).

No words can describe how much i love english breakfast. I really don't mind eating it everyday for the rest of my life (I'm not exaggerating!). And just to let you know, i do eat english breakfast every morning in my school cafeteria and i never, ever, ever get bored of it.

I have been to BC twice and i just wish it was closer to my dorm, so i could walk to it more often *the sorrow of leaving far from central* Here are the pictures of what the place looks like:

The yellow colour of the building is really nice and bright. It reminds me of sunshine and morning and breakfast and eggs? When i stepped in, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was felt like home. It is actually a bit messy with some random stuffs put on the wall, but i think the atmosphere is just so friendly and homey with 80's 90's decoration. There are so many random stuffs put on the wall, such as polaroid pictures, sticky notes with testimony, and even money from all over the world. It seems like many people worldwide have joined the queue to visit this place.

So yeah, me and my friend also left something to remember our first visit and proudly introducing Rupiah as Indonesian currency. If you guys happen to come to this place, try to find this large amount of money ;) (i'm kidding, it's not even a pound lol)

Apple and Cinnamon French Toast (£7.20)
Just by looking at the picture makes me soooo want to eat right now. I think the toast was a bit too sweet (due to the maple syrup), but for breakfast you do need something sweet to start the day, right? (or just an excuse to become fat ;)) The toast was perfectly toasted and so delicate in mouth. Not to mention, the syrup coated green apples and cinnamon powder that can just make your whole day better in one bite.

Eggs Benedict (£8.80) and The Half Monty (£8.00)
Sorry about the low quality picture. I lost the original picture and took it from instagram. If you are a fan of eggs benedict, you should definitely come to this place. One word to describe it, AMAZING! the eggs, the creamy sauce, the ham, oh myyyyy... i really, really need to go to this place tomorrow. Unfortunately (and weirdly), the half monty, which is the traditional english breakfast was not too special. A bit funny actually, but well, the potatoes are fairly good.

Greek Yogurt (£5.00)
This is basically the most delicious greek yogurt i have ever tasted in my 19 years of life. I have come to this place twice and i always order this, and soon on my 3rd visit, i will surely order this again, and again, and again, and again on every visit. I LOVE IT SO DAMN MUCH! The berries (blueberries, strawberries and raspberries) were so fresh and i really love yogurt with granola, so this yogurt just perfect for me. It also has strawberries sauce inside. This is so recommended !

Chocolate Brownie (£5.00)
I'm not really a fan of brownie, but after one bite. That's it. I'm so madly in love with brownie now. It was just a perfect combination of brownie, berries and vanilla ice cream. When you put it altogether in your mouth, you can suddenly feel nothing, but happiness. The brownie was just at perfect sweetness and combine with a bit of sourness from the berries, it was just a perfect dessert. Definitely recommended!

Overall, i give 5/5 for this cafe. The food, the atmosphere and the service are perfect. I love every single bit of everything about this cafe, especially the food! Just to let you know, the queue in the morning can be quite irritating (but definitely worth it). The breakfast is served until 5 pm (i recommend to come in late afternoon if you want to avoid the queue), but the cafe is open until 22.00 for dinner. As for pricing, it is quite reasonable for breakfast in central London, also because the food are worth dying for.
